Ever wonder how DSQ gets our signature electric sound? We owe a large part of it to Ned Steinberger and the fine folks over at NS Design! We've sampled numerous electric violins, violas, cellos, and basses from luthiers across the world, and have found that none match up to the tone and quality of those made by NS Design.

NS Design makes beautiful world-class instruments that are capable of producing the unique, modern sound of an electric string instrument while maintaining the ability to faithfully and accurately reproduce the tone of a classical string instrument. Ned and his team have been great friends of DSQ for a long time now, and we absolutely love having the opportunity to play their instruments!
